Full Mobile Message Experience - Now Available To All Users

We are continuing the rollout of new mobile-first message center screens. Today (Dec 29, 2023) we are happy to announce the general availability of two new screens as part of this experience: the "conversation list" screen and the "start a new conversation" screen.

Combined with the previously announced mobile-optimized conversation screen, the entire messaging experience on dharmaMatch can now be performed from a mobile device.

How Do I Access This New Experience?

You can open this new mobile UI from the existing desktop inbox & outbox pages, as shown below:

Clicking "GO" will take you to the mobile conversation screen, with the user selected, in a new window.

Clicking the "back" arrow in the top left of that screen will take you to the new mobile conversation list screen.

Here is what this new screen looks like:

Here are its initial features:

1. Conversations are listed from most-to-least recent.
2. Clicking on a row will take you to the conversation screen with that user.
3. If there is an unread message from the user, the row will have a yellow highlight and bold text.
4. You can filter to only conversations with favorites from the 3-dot menu on the right.
5. Clicking the floating plus sign in the bottom right corner will open the "start a new conversation" screen.

1. Start (or continue) a conversation with someone from your favorites list with one click.
2. Start typing a screen name to find active users you can message whose screen name starts with those letters.

How Can I Send You Feedback On This Functionality?
