"My Religion is Kindness like the Dalai Lama. I have Inner Peace and Radiance."
I am a: 81-year-old Man (Divorced)
Located in: Tiburon, CA (USA)
Seeking a: Woman (50 to 72)
For: Friendship, Serious Relationship, Marriage
Spirituality: Buddhist, Christian, Humanist, Spiritual, not religious, SRF/YSS

About Me
I am well educated in the medical field at a top notch university and a diagnostic radiology residency at UCSF. I came to SF for my training 50 years ago during the Summer of Love. I jokingly tell my friends I spent too much time in the library. Equally important is a 4 decade interest in psychology, comparative religions, Vipassana meditation, mythology, and multiple retreats and seminars with Experiential groups. I love Esalen and many of my friends and Transformational Experiences were there.
Trekking in Nepal several decades ago with the Tibetan Sherpa porters were the Happiest folks I had ever met. This triggered a 3 decade study of Buddhism and meditation practice. I spent the 80's at the California Institute of Integral Studies in the Integral Counseling Program and on the Board of Trustees.
I am quite active physically swimming one hour / day six days a week. I like to walk and hike several days a week on the trails of Marin. I especially Love Muir Woods,
Tennessee Valley Beach in Mill Valley and Blackie's Pasture in Tiburon.
I like to go to Spirit Rock several times a month for seminars and retreats.
I have been blessed to study at the SF Jung Institute with Huston Smith whose book on the Religions on Man I have read 30 or 40 times. I have been in a dozen weekend seminars there with Joseph Campbell as well. His interview with Bill Moyers on "The Power of Myth" is a highpoint as well.
My practice is highlighted by Metta -Loving Kindness meditation. I am lots of fun and like to go to the movies especially Rafael and Lark to see mostly foreign movies. I go occasionally to the ballet, symphony and opera. Local music clubs in Marin too.

I would like to meet a Warm Affectionate, Bright Intelligent Woman who is lots of fun and is multidimensional.

I try to bring Mindfulness and Awareness into all my Activities so that the Line between Meditation and life frequently becomes one. I choose to work when I want to work one or two weeks every two or three months. I like to swim, walk in Nature, go to seminars at Spirit Rock. I have a very diverse group of friends many of which are several decades long. I like to go on Utube with my Bose speakers and play random musical favorites several times a week. I have traveled to 25 countries and have many more to visit. My Nature trips would include Galapagos, Patagonia, Alaska, and US National Parks. I have been to Europe several dozen times but could go back in a Heartbeat. I have loved South America with many trips and sabbatical to Brasil. Machu Picchu in Peru and Angel Falls in Venezuela. CUBA would be terrific to see the ART and Hear the Music and see the rustic sights.
