I would describe myself as: Warm, affectionate, sensual, passionate, allowing, vulnerable, expressive, playful, with an infectious laugh, vibrantly alive, sensitive, perceptive. I've been told that I'm younger than my years, in appearance and energy, honest, attractive, adventuresome, courageous, enthusiastic, devotional. I've loved exploring conscious movement of many types from partner dancing, contact improv to ecstatic dance, authentic movement....I like to write and read poetry, sing, and play percussion instruments in groups.
I moved to North Carolina in 2022, to be part of an agrarian Ecovillage (CommonGround.eco), that hasn't been built yet, though there is uncertainty now with the path forward. I'm grateful for the many daily blessing here, especially after fleeing the wildfires and smoke of the west coast.
Making a difference in the world and giving back to life has been a key motivator throughout my life. My career has been as a mediator and attorney.
Spirituality is the central focus of my life.
Personal growth has always been a priority for me, as far back as I can remember. I've done years of deep personal /spiritual growth work on my family-of-origin issues. I embrace all life experiences are opportunities to learn and grow.
I have one adopted son, and an almost-adopted “hija del corazón” in Mexico.

How I spend my free time:
- I'm a wild fire refugee from the west coast ...I moved to North Carolina in 2022, to use my skills and energy to help build an Ecovillage here west of the Triangle area. Check it out at: commonground.eco I'm firmly planted here now. I also enjoy: Exploring nature, walking, hiking, spiritual practice (meditation, breathing yoga), conscious movement/dance (contact improv anyone?), reading, (no TV -don't own one, but enjoy some movies and documentaries), spiritual or personal growth retreats, workshops, connecting with close friends and family, singing, what have I forgotten?? cooking! making healthy things to eat. I learned to paddle-board on the Chesapeake Bay! I work out at the gym several times a week doing strength training.

For me, here and now, this is about creating an intentional community and farm where our focus is on creating a radical alternative to mainstream culture: moving away from "power over" in our relationships with each other and with the earth, to "power with" relationships. Creating authentic relationships with other humans, and with all of our more-than-human fellow beings, learning to honor the earth as a spiritual being; learning to live sustainably and as self-sufficiently as possible.
