I'm a creative nature lover who enjoys most outdoor activities and a wide range of music that I can dance to. I’m infinitely curious and enjoy learning new things casually or educationally. A healthy lifestyle with fresh organic food from local sources is very important to me. A cooking & gardening partner would be great.
My spiritual interests are far reaching since my year around the world trip with a backpack in my mid 20’s really set the tone for taking time to appreciate the richness of the history and cultures in the places I’ve traveled. I need to make the continents of Australia and Antarctica (maybe! I do like the chance to be warm & cozy.)
My family traveled through Hopi & Navajo lands when I was a baby and the meanderings in the desert and canyons of New Mexico & Arizona will not leave my spirit. Big sky is wonderful! I also have had significant spiritual experiences in the mountains and valleys of Colorado as an adult. I’ve spent significant time in India and Nepal where my Tibetan teacher reside. I would like to go back to Peru and Bolivia. I can still manage to travel with a single backpack and day pack until I go shopping for local art and craft items. I just enjoy exploring and not going so many places but absorbing for a few days in a few key areas with time to make personal connections.
My dream job for ‘retirement’ would be teaching the touch and nervous system healing techniques I’ve been using and continuing to study for 30 years. My preference would be to go to under served communities and hopefully refugee camps to lend a little hope and stress relief so it can be passed on to that community by their own community members.
I am my best self with a compassionate listener who enjoys sensual pleasures as much as spiritual ones. An ideal guy would also enjoy traveling on a budget to extend the trip but enjoy some splurges for comfort and rich meaningful experiences. Right up at the top of the list is a playful spirit who doesn’t mind me being a goof ball sometimes!
He would be thoughtfully communicative, outgoing with a creative bent and take time for his own endeavors while I am enjoying mine. Yet the time together would be richer for our own interests that we want to share with one another. Your spiritual life permeates your daily life and doesn't stay on a meditation cushion. I want to actively pursue being in community and volunteering together as well as enjoying chill time in beautiful settings natural and designed. |
