Those who know me well see an abundance of enthusiasm, creativity, sensitivity, silliness and playfulness - hence my avatar.
The core of my life is devotion to the Light/Source. I've been supported in this through a dedication to daily practices since I was a teenager which have helped to unveil and integrate the Light/Source. And of course, choosing and living a resonant heart-centered life more and more, which has influenced my education, work, where I live, and whom I deepen friendships with.
I'm currently very active in a Mahayana Buddhist sangha/study group though have participated with other lineages/spiritual communities at other times (Plum Village, yogic, goddess-oriented, shamanic). I've loved connecting with like-hearted people from various traditions; it's beautiful to see the resonant light in someone else's path, even if it's from a tradition that I don't have as much experience with. I've also had the exceptional gift of superlative, close mentoring from my Teacher for the last 9 years.
I work as a writer/editor, Reiki Master and teach music classes. I spend a lot of time outside, in the ocean or by the ocean, listening to nature and meditating.
I'm here to connect with new friends and possibly a partner - kindred spirits who love the land, creativity and whose spirituality is guiding the expression of their presence.
