Being a mother, a supportive child to my elderly parents who have passed on, becoming an art teacher and earning my degrees. I also have worked very hard to hone my artistic skills and be open to new ways of thinking.

Five or ten years from now, I see myself...

I see myself traveling and attending more Buddhist teaching. I also see myself creating art full-time and training my dogs more than I have had the time to do. I retired in May of 2023 but am now teaching part time at a private school. I will continue to benefit others - teach art workshops - and becoming a volunteer for non-profits in need when my teaching ends. No one knows if they have a future - we just have now.

I was raised a Christian but it never really made sense to me. It was a very conservative faith. I was looking for info on Buddhism and had always been interested in learning more…then my adult son decided to become a Buddhist and I learned more about it because I was worried about him. I found my path and will be forever grateful.
