I've been doing a great deal of work on myself for the past few years and finally realized, though I want to be self reliant and sufficient, that doesn't mean I have to be alone. It would be great to find a like-minded soul, who doesn't require too much from someone else to be content - but is tired of telling himself the same old jokes and needs someone new to tell them to. :) |

I lost a close friend to cancer in '21, he was only 58. I took care of him till he took his last breath. I withdrew from life at that point, not for grieving, but to evaluate myself and get to know ME. I grew up believing I had to hide my light, so others could shine brighter and who I was made no difference to anyone. Now it means everything to me - and from here I know my path is simply -> forward. :)
