Well now, this is the *fun* part—trying to describe oneself... 😉
I lead various lives. Father, Songwriter & Musician, Owner of an International Wine Brokerage, Social Change agitator, Buddhist-focused spiritual journeyman, stuff like that...
I'm on the board in our community here in the redwoods heading up Habitat Restoration and Emergency Preparedness—working with local, County, State & Federal agencies on behalf of our community. I also worked for many years as a high school Youth Group leader, taking students regularly to work in homeless shelters, with immigrants and with other students they typically saw as "others"... trying to dissolve those barriers.
I am looking for a partner who is loving, playful and cares deeply, who has their own life and who is choosing to be on the spiritual path. Someone who appreciates and honors the full spectrum of this wild dance we're in, and enjoys partnership in exploring that. It would be wonderful to find someone who is approaching life as a spiritual journey with honesty, dedication and a big ol' sense of humor...

Well, there's those rare wonderful *aha* moments when the curtain parts a bit and you get to see/feel our true nature. But for the most part, it's finding the connection with others in as selfless a way as possible (which can be sooooo challenging no matter how sweet intention may be). There's also connecting with that inner natural peace and spaciousness alone in meditation or spontaneously in the world.
