I view myself – and strive to be – thoughtful, respectful, kind, and curious. I am a loving mom to 2 young adults who have left home and a large elderly very spoiled rescue dog (who claims that she is not planning to move out anytime soon). I’m a loyal friend, go out of my way for others and find pleasure in performing random acts of kindness such as throwing a quarter into someone else’s expired parking meter. I am an ethical vegan for the sake of animals, humans, and the environment and this is a key aspect of my identity. I would love to meet someone with similar values.
I’m still working full time, thrive on learning new things, and try hard to keep a balanced perspective in these difficult times. I appreciate art, architecture, photography, film, fun TV and live shows, nature, crafts, whole food plant-based cooking, writing, and exercise. I am a reader and a news junkie. I am a liberal and take politics very seriously.
