| About Me

|
Creative, funny, intuitive and thoughtful, I like authentic people and moments. I recently retired from a career as a hospice nurse. Now I paint and create some kind of art daily. I'm a practitioner of Vajrayana buddhism and it's important to me. Like everyone I have had happy times and heartbreaking times. I try and let everything that happens open my heart. I spend half the year with my family in the bay area and half back east in an off grid cabin in western Massachusetts. I like seeing art and see art in much of what I experience. I'm a nature girl at heart and love to star gaze, creek wade and admire a display of nocturnal fireflies. I aspire to spend more time at the ocean. I am equally comfortable in New York City as I am in the middle of nowhere. I am good at being present regardless of external circumstances. I listen before I talk (most ot the time.) I'm grounded and real yet also seek advice from the iching and the tarot. I trust emotional intelligence. I love the quote, ‘Magic happens when you remove the magician.’ |
