Hi! I'm a kind, introspective, open-hearted person who is socially minded and cares about justice, equality and sustainability. I live on a few acres and try to grow organic food and share it. My Buddhist practice is mainly centered around Thich Nhat Hahn's Order of Interbeing. I was raised Catholic, so that faith is part of me also. I am looking for someone to share deep conversation and quietude, values of kindness and care, love of the natural world, travel, food, laughter, intimacy and joy. |

I had been drawn to Buddhism because of the values and resonance with the teachings for many years. When I moved back to the area four years ago, I found a nearby Sangha that I have been sitting with online most mornings. I have gotten more interested in reading Buddhist books and contemplating the nature of life. My sitting practice is now vital in helping me keep a sense a peace when I am moving in the world. It helps me be more mindful of my actions and gives me a touchstone for how I want to keep growing.
