About Me
I am an established gentleman who is an artist-instructor living in New York City. I have widely traveled the world and have lived in various cities such as New York, Paris, London, Rome, Madrid, Buenos Aires. I am easygoing and take life as it comes, but at the same time, I have an objective and a plan for my life. I enjoy art, theater, music, film, world travel, and fine restaurants. I also enjoy conversations with cultured people about history, philosophy, literature, and metaphysics.
I enjoy the richness of life and the beauty of the fine arts and seek to share this with a sweet and lovely woman of inner calm and goodness. This woman that I seek can be many things and at the same time, she is one with herself. Talk and discussion would not be always necessary between us. She has her world and I have mine and at the same time, we share these worlds with one another in silence. She can be hot as the sun, and also she can be cool like a forest stream. She can be close and as well she can be far. I would be like the earth and she would be like a shimmering blue sky on a summer's day with wispy clouds, gentle winds, and refreshing rain.

The things that annoy me are:
Really, not much ...I try to maintain balance and inner peace. The world, I view it as a divine comedy...But, yes, there can be moments when stupid, vulgar and loud people can be hard to deal with....But, I rarely have such a situations, as I don not am not surround myself with these kinds of people.
The best day of my life was when:
Everyday for me is a special day, unique, ephemeral. Yes, there are certain decisive days in one's life, but presently I have not deemed what that one day would be, because there have been so many to choose from.

If I could have dinner with any three people, they would be:
I would choose, Lao Tzu, Socrates & Leonardo Da Vinci: I would choose Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching because of his great mystical understanding of "The Way of Nature" (The Tao). Socrates because of his great understanding of the Way of Nature" but expressed in terms of empirical insights, later becoming Western Philosophy. And of course, the same with Leonardo Da Vinci, I would want to know about his great understanding of "The Way of Nature" as expressed artistically in his paintings and scientific explorations. Three different individuals, three different understandings and expressions of "The Way".

Spirituality
Spiritual Orientation:
Humanist, Taoist, Yoga, Spiritual, not religious
What brought me to my spiritual path and motivated my interest...
I think of spirituality as something personal and private and natural. I don't belong to any organized religion. If I am close to any belif system it would be Philosophical Taoism. The reason I can indentify with it is that it is not a religion but more a way of life that is simple & natural.
I consider the purpose of my spirituality to be...
Finding happiness and peace within
After the body dies...
I don't know, but I'm not worried about it
I would define a spiritual experience as...
Being alive, here and now, and aware of that temporal fact.
A spiritual experience I would like to share...
Being aware that I am here in this moment at this place in time. Once I had a very strong meditation session on a boulder overlooking a valley in upstate New York that I could say was special in that it showed me "that eternity is now, in this moment." Be, here, now" is the goal of my spiritual path.
The spiritual books and authors that have had the greatest impact on me...
The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity by Daniel P. Reid. The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu.
Narrow Road to the Interior by Matsuo Basho.
