I have been strongly influenced by the Hindu and Buddhist traditions but am eclectic, trying to take what is most useful from all traditions. I meditate regularly and have tried to find my path through reflecting on my own experience. I have used the insights I have gained through meditation in my work with people with mental health problems and also in other spheres of my life. I have written articles about using meditation to ameliorate severe mental health problems and about advaita vedanta.
Besides meditation I practise a large amount of physical yoga and am very fit. I enjoy walking amongst mountains and cycling. I campaign on a range of issues including the environment. I am vegan but happy to also meet up with lacto-vegetarians.
