I am a: 55-year-old Woman (Single)
Located in: Dallas, TX (USA)
Seeking a: Man (45 to 63)
For: Dating, Serious Relationship

About Me
I am a self-motivated woman traveling through life opening to the universe and finding myself grateful for all the blessings and struggles life has offered me. Somehow, I landed myself back in Texas (Dallas) after living off-grid assisting the development of a rural Dharma center for almost 6 years, going deep into the practice and self-development, as well as "chop wood and carry water". A huge part of me has wanted to leave Dallas since I landed here (over a decade now) and I am working to find clarity on where/when to leave or split my time!
I am looking for a life partner to enjoy the great outdoors while making an impact on this world in body-mind awareness and health. I hosted my 1st Nature Immersion Retreat last month and it was phenomenal! I am a seeker, extremely passionate, and outdoorsy (prefer the outdoors to indoors). I love the gym yet perfer to workout outdoors as much as possible. I love mountain biking, and kayaking/standup board. I love mountains, rivers, and beaches.
I eat extremely clean, work out regularly, and have long-standing meditative and other transformative practices at the core of my day. I am independent, yet I aspire to be in union with a right-fit male! I am a seeker, non-conformist, at times risk-taker, and I enjoy going against the norm and being my true self to the best of my ability.

How I spend my free time:
Meditating, reading, biking, hiking, camping skiing, climbing, and occasional movies. Enjoying great food and wine (on occasion).
Personality
My Personality:
Adventurous, Strong, Outgoing
When out with friends, I'm usually:
The talkative one
What makes me laugh hardest:
my wacky friends, back in the day Seinfeld and Simpsons
I'm happiest when:
In nature. Anything outdoors. Enjoy silence/stillness and activity in nature. Also sharing great food and wine with special connections. I'm riding my mountain bike on beautiful tight singletrack. In the sun. In a hammock. On the beach, in the mountains, of near a waterfall of river/creek.
The things that annoy me are:
Government and how our society is so not open to healing and in fear of speaking their truth. Those who follow out of convenience or desire to fit in. People who are political know-it-alls but take no action. Pharmaceutical drug industry. Rude and malicious behavior. Unfriendly and closed beings. The division this world is in (created on purpose, which makes it that much more annoying)
The best day of my life was when:
I was lost in the wilderness for 4 days and 3 nights...so okay, that makes it the best 3 days in my life.
If I could have dinner with any three people, they would be:
Pema Chodron, my birth mother "Mariola" and her husband (my dad).
Interests
My interests, hobbies, and pastimes include...
Eating Out, Music (listening), Reading, Travel
The physical activities I'm interested in are:
Biking, Billiards/Pool, Bowling, Camping, Dancing, Gym/Weightlifting, Hiking/Backpacking, Skiing, Yoga (hatha)
For fun I like to...
Mounting biking, camping, dancing, and eating out (quality, on occasion) are probably at the top. I would love to sky-dive, kayak, and do more adventurous activities more often.
My favorite music:
A little bit of most. No time to get into now.
My favorite books:
Carolyn Myss's Energy Anatomy, several of Pema Chodron's Books, a few shamanic books and a list of healing (mental and physical) that I do not have time to list.
A New Earth. Animal Speak.
Values
The virtues I consider most important are...
Open-Mindedness, Loyalty, Honesty
The things I'm most grateful for in life are...
The teachers that come in all forms. My friends.
My goals, and what I want out of life...
My clear-cut goals in life are uncertain. An evolving career that feeds my soul yet pays enough and provides enough freedom to let me travel and continue the journeys of my soul. Finding a life partner but only if it's the right match, otherwise I'd rather be happily alone.
My greatest accomplishments in life have been...
Finishing my undergrad after many years of struggles in and out of school with zero support throughout it all. Simple living where inconvenience and nature brings you closer to yourself as well as what really matters. Serious healing ventures that most would never dare to embark.
Five or ten years from now, I see myself...
Who knows. Staying open and trusting that I'll be exactly where I should be. Smiling and having fun.
My political inclination can be described as...
Non-conformist
Spirituality
Spiritual Orientation:
Buddhist
I consider my spirituality...
Very important to me
What brought me to my spiritual path and motivated my interest...
My first solo camping trip (primitive) so far from home- in 2 states not my own at the time, in which I slowed down enough to hear the universe speak to me and through signs found myself in a place where I've spontaneously decide to make a home and journey into new parts of myself.
I consider the purpose of my spirituality to be...
Connecting to something greater than myself, Finding happiness and peace within, Helping me cope with the struggles of life, Helping me grow as a person
I would define a spiritual experience as...
It's undefinable... ineffable
A spiritual experience I would like to share...
Nope... not that I want to share on the internet!!! I don't believe highly spiritual experiences should be shared publicly, if at all. I call that Ego.
The spiritual books and authors that have had the greatest impact on me...
Pema Chodron, Dalai Lama, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and Carolyn Myss because of her great ability to read all religions in a way that shows their similarities yet does not create any one better than the rest while showing each spiritual journeys' true goal of evolution and healing. This is an interesting response as I am generally anti-religion although I must admit I have found a spiritual path that resonates with me and most closely depicts my beliefs yet I do recognize that it has now become one of the world's top religions
