As a gardener, mediator and an artist my primary interests are in the natural world, curiosity, clear communications, and authentic expression through many mediums. I love working with my hands and have built clay ovens and a couple of houses with family. I always seem to have a 4 legged friend nearby and am pretty careful about what I eat these days. Dance is a big part of my joy and my spiritual practice. I love dancing the 5 Rhythms and the teachings of Gabriel Roth. I am looking for someone who is inquisitive and observant, someone who lives with gratitude and compassion, uses his arms and his legs, can let his light shine and allow light to shine on his mate as well.
Past vocations include baking (24 years), and graphic design (6 years) (way too much time sitting at a computer!), volunteering as an EMT on rescue squads and teaching art.
During the last year I have begun to make and sell garments that I construct from cast off natural fiber clothing. I call this Joyful Upcycled
I love having given up alcohol and I have belonged to an NVC practice group for many years and am so grateful for the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg, Robert Gonzales, Tara Brach and Bryon Katie. Joy is the fruit I harvest from deep presence! oh one more thing . . I have recently lost my fear of singing and am loving how my voice finds harmonies in unexpected places! |
