I thought I would try out "Dharma Match" again in hopes of meeting people who sincerely wanted to have an honest conversation. It seems that virtually no one has any understanding of what "Spiritual but not Religious" actually means. It is not a label or an excuse you can hide behind to justify dishonesty or denial of reality. I would suggest that it should represent something closer to integrity. Truth, Dharma. Not "Gaslighting".
Introductions, initial conversations, and getting to know somebody, should not have to feel like looking down at the barrel of a gun during military recruitment or being indicted. This should be about making a friend, not accumulating adversaries, prosecutors or foes. If you want to talk, then don't bring a knife or gun to finish off unsettled scores from your past. Just talk, and listen with an open mind. Life is too short, and not about "perfection", for another "Drama Match" to unfold. Peace |
