I will soon go to the IMS Forest Refuge for a two week silent retreat. It has become my favorite meditation center. I have completed the Spirit Rock Dedicated Practitioners' Program, Advanced Practitioners Program, and have spent more than 200 nights on retreat.
Also... passionate and adventurous. I love to travel, have visited more than 40 countries, and have had great experiences. I am a native New Yorker who adores San Francisco, although I need a New York or London culture "fix" from time to time. I love great literature, theater, fine art and film. Hiking in the wilderness for a week at a time makes me inexpressibly happy and I meditate and work out almost every day. Culturally Jewish and Buddhism speaks to me on a much deeper level. I walked away from a job as a NYC corporate lawyer to do human rights work after concluding I want to improve the world. I seek personal and spiritual growth, am kind, generous and a great listener, communicate well, have a good sense of humor, don't take myself too seriously, look great in my tux and suits but prefer jeans.
Educated at top schools. I am intelligent, serious about life, and somewhat intellectual, but am less intense than this sounds and am also quite funny and playful. Like to relax, have fun, and be happy. As the Dalai Lama wrote, "the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness." My life is wonderful. All I am missing is you.
