"Deep Soul with a Playful Spirit!"
I am a: 59-year-old Woman (Single)
Located in: Oakland, CA (USA)
Seeking a: Man (50 to 60)
For: Serious Relationship, Marriage
Spirituality: Hindu, Yoga, Spiritual, not religious, Other

About Me
I am a deep soul with a playful spirit.

I find meaning fostering healing and peace. That led me to get a Masters in social psychology, bring empathy to emotional pain and teach yoga and conflict resolution principles. Yet, somehow freelance accounting work found its way into my livelihood equation!

"You've brought spirituality to Gold's Gym". That's what one yoga student said. I believe every facet of our lives is an opportunity to deepen spiritually - ”though I often forget that when I'm struggling (lol)! This is why I'm so grateful for the friendships where we can share vulnerably, find insights and laugh at ourselves.

Nature helps me feel Divine presence: walking along the beach, biking through the woods, wading in the creek, gazing at the stars, laying on a boulder, sitting in the sun, and well um having romantic encounters with a black bear!

While I like to retreat periodically, attend spiritual services and ground in my (mostly clean, uncluttered) home, I'm also expressive in "the world": public speaking, dancing and performing, striving to bring awareness in an entertaining way (themes ranging from patriarchy to spirituality).

I can understand you at the deepest level, celebrate your journey and hold you as a precious being. I will join you to gracefully and skillfully move through differences into deeper connection, care and playfulness.

I'd love to partner with a man who is also on a spiritual path, comfortable with who he is, celebrates life, delights in his and others' life journeys, has practical affairs in order, lives a sattvic lifestyle and would be grateful to share in and evolve that with a playful, caring, dedicated, intimate spiritually-centered, empowered woman who appreciates chivalry and tenderness.

Let's nurture an ever-deepening loving connection in which we embrace vulnerabilities, celebrate gifts, create beauty, compassionately laugh at ourselves and life, see ourselves and each other as precious souls foremost, share in our spiritual journeys, support one another's and the world's evolution and play with unbridled innocence!

I envision the strength and beauty of our relationship overflowing to our communities and fueling our transformative work in the world.
How does this sound to you?

***
If this sounds good so far, I'll be upfront about a few things to help streamline this search process for us:

1. Drugs (including marijuana or excessive drinking) is a deal-breaker for me. I value connecting with our full faculties.

2. Since spirituality is central to life for me (and therefore to a conscious partnership), I wish to partner with someone with a similar enough spiritual framework (at a minimum believes Divine Spirit, aka God, permeates all existence).

3. I have a connection with my Gujarati-Indian heritage while having assimilated to mainstream American culture in many ways. I would want my partner to understand the nuances of that, and have consciousness around being an ally to ethnic minorities, women and other marginalized groups.

4. I'm debt-free (including my condo). I've found a sweet spot doing work I enjoy and care about part-time that gives me freedom and flexibility to follow other passions (like performing, spirituality and service). At this stage in life, I wish to partner with someone who is also financially stable (home, savings and income) and in a groove with higher purposes in life. Why? So we can synergize spiritually and multiply our service to our world.

5. Gender roles can be confusing. Here's a peek at where I am: If things progressed to a partnership, my vision is we give abundantly from the heart as beloveds according to our capacities and what matters to each of us (not follow a formulaic/transactional arrangement). I want to dissolve any sense of separateness as much as feasible on a worldly plane. And, as we initially date even though I have feminist values and have taken care of things as an independent single woman most of my life. I'm ready to be courted and cared for by a man. My heart will open to you if you carry my bag or treat us on our dates. There will be times I'll want to nurture you in meaningful ways.

6. I am interested in developing a devotional committed life partnership that leads to marriage between beloveds. I want friendship to be at its foundation. To me this is an exploratory, non-exclusive process initially to see if there is alignment, chemistry etc.--then exclusive to further explore/deepen before becoming committed. I don't plan to be sexual before I'm exclusive with someone.

7. I am not likely to want to relocate very far from this area.

If all this is aligned with you, please reach out and say so! I'll look forward to getting acquainted!

If not, that's okay. No need to reach out. I trust we will encounter our right matches. I wish you well in every way. Thanks for checking out my profile.
