I am a 70 year-old man in good health. I have excercised near-daily for 50 years plus and am in unusually good shape. I have a nice home on a decent-sized property in east Boulder County which I have developed into a productive and pleasant space with raised garden beds, fruit trees, and pleasing landscaping. I am mostly retired from a career in higher ed, and do a type of artwork related to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, which I make on commission for supplemental income. I practiced with a Buddhist teacher and sangha in Boulder for many years. I completed a 3-year retreat in the Tibetan tradition in 2003. I am not currently involved with any organized--or disorganized--religion. I continue to have a spiritual practice.
I am interested in developing a relationship with a woman who has some experience with, and interest in, spiritual/meditative practice. I am not concerned that you be buddhist, per se. Actually, if you like to garden, don't mind collecting eggs from a chicken coop, like cats, and are willing to dig in a compost pile, that would be pretty good. Quite good really.
I am not interested in marriage in any conventional sense. I had a marriage, now 20 years ago. At this point in my life I am looking for someone to partner with in possibly creative ways, to build a mutually-supportive domestic situation. If this sounds interesting to you, please be in touch. |

How I spend my free time:
- "Free time" is an interesting concept. I exercise about five times a week, have a meditation practice, and my work is demanding though luckily, very interesting. I recently bought a house east of Boulder and, with the help of a small parade of contractors, have been renovating. I'm excited to be creating a home in the way that I am able to now. I find time and make time for friends, good food, and relationships are really important to me. At the same time, I am pretty independent.
