Firstly i need to be honest & say I'm highly sensitive & require a fair amount of solitude & quiet time to 'settle my energy' ~ however, there is the front & the back of this ~ I am most content in & closest to nature, barefoot, Spend summers in a beautiful cabin i built myself using available resources, with help of the local community & barter system i set-up ~ Winters have been enjoyed in between Hawaii & S.California where my daughter & her family now live ~ I am unhurried, like to do things in my own time ~ Used modern-day Macrobiotic approach to heal lifelong illness (33yrs ago) love cooking & eating & being cooked for! I have discovered that everything, especially talking, is enhanced by my natural practice of not talking & i eat & walk in silence daily which allows for full breath & easy ability to hear the voice with-in ~ The practice of Yoga & meditation daily for 30yrs & my personal ritual serve as the foundation of my life & out of it comes the greatest freedom ~ I am generous (both emotionally & in all other ways) caring, calm & un-hurried, sensual, sweet, selfish from being sensitive, playful, empathic, capable, self-reliant & trusting (a bit too !) passionate, fun, witty, persistant, introverted, naughty, compassionate, adventurous etc ! I prefer & strive to live off the grid & as sustainably as possible & tread softly on the earth (tho enjoy city jaunts once in a while, especially if its to be fed and entertained!) i am also very intuitive and foresightful ~ Prefer being in warm weather but love being cozy with the woodstove going, for a few days ! ~ Have no interest to live in a conventional or manicured environment (the sounds of garden maintenance machinery is very disturbing) & dream of living one day deeper in nature with plenty of acres & natural body of water to buffer from the world ~ Have over the years attended several very powerful workshops & seminars that have helped take me through various levels of healing & growth & helped me become more aware ~ Love all creatures but prefer not to own pets ~ I am greatly full-filled being of service to others & enjoy listening & sharing in a variety of ways ~ My only child is 41yr old daughter who continues to be one of my greatest teachers & birth of grandson in 2008 began, anew, the triggers for fun & attention! ~ Also i am a 7 metal Rooster (7-5-7) and true to my nature ~ Love & need touch & intimacy & foremost seeking to establish a deep rooted friendship based on trust, integrity, empathy, compassion & awareness ~ Have come to understand that the ways of my grandparents generation in moving more slowly and sensually in relationship had great value in really getting to know each other before 'marriage' & that greatest healing & growth is possible when two people commit in this way ~ The study of Tantric & Taoist healing and energy leave no doubt in my mind that this is an essential part of any relationship i will enter in & i treasure the man who chooses to journey with me ~ I am un conventional, like to always have/make room for improvement and quietly strive to be a better person ~ Validation of self and therefore others is a fundamental part of my practice towards better health ~ I see this singles site as not only a place to potentially meet a soul-mate but also as an opportunity to practice respectful & integral communication in preparation for the kind of relationship that i desire ~ I will see your greatness & support your highest vision of your life ~ I consider everything ingested to be food, always choosing the best, which includes occasionally enjoying premium sake or micro-brewed beer & once in a blue moon, a hand rolled organic tobacco cig, taken with respect & gratitude ~ So maybe it sounds like i am very serious & have really got 'it together' ~ truth is i have faced many shocking experiences from a young age & just happen to thrive on paying attention & my personal rituals ~ have got to know myself quite well & what works ~ I avoid saying 'never' or that 'i believe' as it feels that the opposites are on the other side ! ~ thought it best to write all this so i dont have to talk too much about myself !
