The journey over the last two decades finds me deeply entrenched today in Erikson's 7th stage of human development (generativity vs stagnation) striving to live for a cause larger than this finite "self." In that journey, a soulmate/friend/partner in service will indeed be serendipity. If this resonates with you, please read on or send me a note.
Gratefully content, contemplative, a self-made pauper surrounded by infinite abundance! The glass here is more than half full. I eat and live minimally (in the interest of preserving our Earth and I also find it liberating!) and have discovered the abundance in having less. Have a very uncomplicated and peaceful life which I treasure.
(For any scammers that may have reached this far or scanning this profile, I recommend you spare yourself the rest of this profile. Because what I have going for me (and against you) is that there is NO element of desperation here, I am in absolutely NO rush at all and, as the saying goes, I wasn’t born yesterday! 😊)
Music (Indian classical, Western classical, bhajans and kirtans) is my form of worship and the unfailing staff when the journey momentarily gets rocky. Meditation on the daily living and yoga offer the grounding to the present.
Love to laugh and be silly and live on the edge of convention. Tend to be gregarious but also enjoy contemplating in solitude. Prefer to spend time with me and myself rather than socializing in the midst of superficial banter. Enjoy discussions that are food for thought, as well as communicating with each other in silence! Not much into social media, just have a token fb account.
Enjoy traveling if and when the opportunity presents itself (though I intend to use alternatives to flying whenever and wherever possible to lend towards sustainability), but also realize that most of it is right here and frankly, San Diego is hard to beat! It was wanderlust that had me set off from home after HS. Love hiking/traveling with a backpack, putting the thumb out sometimes for a ride and staying in hostels or with the locals. Also enjoy the resorts and the fine dining experience when they come along.
Work is the other form of worship. Do-it-yourselfer at heart (but also realize the limitations of my build!) and often on the go. Love the work I do for a living as a nurse. Love to garden, not much of a gardener, but enjoy "putting around" and communing with nature. Two sons are in post graduate and graduate school. I am a joyful witness.
Very fortunate to be living in a home on a wildlife preserve right in SD. This beautiful city has been home for longer than anywhere else in the world. Watchful about leaving a minimal footprint behind with xeriscape garden, a solar powered vehicle, use of renewable resources and reuse before recycling, and most effectively, minimal living. My dream is to live (at least part-time) in a small hut somewhere cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas or the Andes spending time serving the community around me.
This life has been deeply anchored in compassion and giving. So far the journey has been wonderful and the present location is serene and peaceful. Here to explore Life and its infinite possibilities...friendship, experiencing oneness, resonance, none of this, or all of this and more. The philosophy is--if it is meant to be, it surely will be! If you wish, a note will be gratefully received.
In a Utopian world, my life partner would be compassionate, generous, eager to venture beyond the familiar, culturally curious and open, seek to understand rather than judge, be blessed with a sense of inner security and tranquility, one who ascribes to healthy living, and help further our journey. But I am also aware that this is not utopia and heaven only knows that I am FAR from "perfect"--so complementarity in some areas might be as well or better than similarity, I suppose. It is worth mentioning, however, that an altruistic incline or even openness to it is likely to be a magnet!
Life is an adventure and I am all for it...If you've reached this far, I thank you for your interest! An addendum on my take: a meaningful relationship cannot nucleate around sex, the most sacred expression of love, but ought to blossom and culminate in it. Certainly not seeking a Sugar Daddy, nor do I have much to be a Sugar Mama for anyone! :-)

- All of my time is free, there is no "bound" time (except at tax time :-)) I sing, garden (rather putter around in the yard), contemplate/observe the thoughts, give in every way I can. I live by the phrase cleanliness is next to godliness.
